In fact, I'm willing to bet that 99.9% of people who learn about the law of attraction do so because they have an innate desire to attract money into their lives. This is not the case because money is the most important factor in life. It's because the most prevalent reason for not living the life we want is a lack of funds. As mentioned throughout this website, truly utilizing and directing the power of the law of attraction requires a high level of awareness. Whether you want to materialize money or a cup of coffee, this is true.
The difference is that we are mentally prepared to accept the cup of coffee since it is so simply accessible and available to us. You've probably had a hundred cups of coffee, so there's no reason you couldn't make one right now, right? Whereas, for the vast majority of people, manifesting money is not so simple, or so it appears.
The truth is that everything is a product of one's mind. There must be a notion before anything can be formed or experienced. Thoughts become feelings, feelings become moods, moods become habitual emotions or responses, and lastly, thoughts become "beliefs" in your subconscious. Through exposure and repetition, beliefs can be learnt, programmed, and changed over time. It takes a lot of effort to re-program your subconscious mind, but it is possible and effective when done correctly.
The subconscious is the most powerful operating system on the planet, and it is your direct link to the rest of the cosmos. The subconscious is in charge of sending out the signals or "requests" it gets from you into the world, which then provides you with exactly what you want! Your mind is a manifestation machine that works on the basis of your beliefs.
Consider your existing circumstance. What money values were instilled in you as a child? Family, friends, and coworkers all have similar, if not identical, financial mindsets and perspectives. Their ability to earn more money, as well as their sentiments toward those who have it, are all factors to consider. What do you make of this? It only emphasizes the reality that, for better or worse, you are operating on an insufficient sub-conscious belief system regarding money!
Furthermore, you have unconsciously drawn a vast network of people who are unwittingly reinforcing your limiting views. As a result, you'll be left wanting more. Which is good since, in order to materialize anything, you must first have desire, and manifesting money is no exception! This isn't to say that your friends and family are your worst adversaries, whom you should avoid at all costs. It simply implies that you have never realized that your limited financial condition is the outcome of your limited financial belief system. Because you were born into it, were raised in it, and are now surrounded by it!
To be clear, manifesting money is entirely doable. Actually, it isn't all that difficult (deciding what you want most in life is far more difficult!). To manifest money, however, you must first recognize and overcome your limiting ideas about money. Why? Because prosperity, joy, happiness, health, safety, and excitement are all born first and foremost as thoughts and "ideas" in your mind! Because if you can't love riches now, you'll never be able to love it later. Because if all you feel is helpless inadequacy about always being broke, that's exactly what you'll attract! This is step one if you truly want to materialize money: be patient, read and study the law of attraction, and most importantly, BELIEVE.
To manifest anything, including money, you must first desire it. Which implies that there is a scarcity of something, in this case money. As a student of the law of attraction, the first step you should do is to identify and eliminate any negative feelings you have towards money. You must recognize and acknowledge that your current situation and financial stress are a direct outcome of your conscious and unconscious money ideas and sentiments! If you don't have enough credit or cash, don't dwell on it. Stop the quick, reflexive, emotional *sigh* and unpleasant sense of not having enough money if you want something expensive like a new car or clothes. When you react emotionally in this way, you're sending a strong and clear message to the universe that you're not getting enough. That's all there is to it. Everything you send out is returned to you. Give out unpleasant sentiments about money, and you'll attract more of the same. Like attracts like.
